The views of our Parents and Carers and their expectations and interests are of paramount importance.

It is our aim to build a strong working partnership with families with regard to all aspects of our children's education and development. We are always keen to hear parents views and opinions, both on positive aspects of the school and suggestions for improvement.

We hold an Achievement Assembly every Friday and all Parents are warmly invited at 2:40pm - we have a good turnout each week and look forward to sharing our School's Achievements with you.

The school has a Parents & Carers Forum, which meets once each half-term. There are usually a couple of set discussion items, and then member of the forum can also bring items for discussion raised by the other parents/carers within the class. Some items previously considered include: Healthy Eating, the Sex and Relationships Education Policy, and the school's Report Format. Parents/carers can email feedback or items for discussion to their class representative on the following email addresses:

Governors also hold a Parent survey each year at the Spring Term Parents Evening and results are shared with Parents.

Parents'/carers' consultation evenings are held twice each year, during Autumn and Spring terms. Our teachers are, of course, available everyday throughout the school year to discuss any concerns or to pass on information, either via a very quick message before school or by making an appointment via the school office.

We lead termly 'Parents/Carers Information Evening', to provide stakeholders with information about an aspect of school development. In recent years, we have had information evenings about: E-Safety, Mathematics, Readingt and Homework.

As a school we will make every effort to keep parents/carers informed of any support or assistance that may be available or of interest. In addition to this Learning Platform, the following websites are suggested as information portals for up to date Local Authority and national parenting support.
